West End Boulevard will be closed at the Wayne Street intersection south of Bertling Street beginning today, according to a news release from the City of Cape Girardeau.

An earlier release had erroneously said the street would be closed between Highway 74 and Linden Street.

The closure is necessary for public works crews to replace a metal culvert crossing West End with a concrete culvert. The road will remain closed through Thursday.
