PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Arthur C. Graff, 87, of Perryville died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Lithium, Mo., son of Elmo and Maryetta Trickey Graff. He first married Alma Bishop, who preceded him in death. He then married Blanche Marie Hagan on April 6, 1980...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Arthur C. Graff, 87, of Perryville died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 31, 1921, at Lithium, Mo., son of Elmo and Maryetta Trickey Graff. He first married Alma Bishop, who preceded him in death. He then married Blanche Marie Hagan on April 6, 1980.

Mr. Graff worked as a steel/iron hanger at Mississippi Lime Co. and also farmed. He was a member of Lithium Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 670 in Perryville.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Graff of Perryville; two daughters, Dorothy Danz of Eureka, Mo., Linda Atchley of Sikeston, Mo.; three stepchildren, Ruth Ann Busch of Farmington, Mo., Lawrence Strattman of Cape Girardeau, Paul Strattman of Perryville; three sisters, Mae Dubois and Ruth Kiefer of Perryville, Verna Reed of Dexter, Mo.; a granddaughter, Melissa Austin; and two great-grandsons, Daniel and Nicholas Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; two brothers, Albert and Dale Graff; and a sister, Edna Bishop.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. to service time Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Masonic service will be at 7 tonight.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
