A 68-year-old man was robbed of $25 worth of quarters in his Cape Girardeau home, police said.

According to Sgt. Jason Selzer of the Cape Girardeau Police Department, the man said he answered the door at his home on Themis Street shortly before 11 p.m. Monday. Two women then took the money from the man and ran away. The man said he knew one of the women.

Selzer said no injuries were reported and that an investigation is underway.
