LONDON (AP) -- British far-right leader Nick Griffin was forced to abandon a London news conference Tuesday when egg-throwing demonstrators chased him away. Griffin's British National Party, which does not accept nonwhite members, won two seats in Brussels in elections last week that showed widespread disenchantment with mainstream British politics. The result horrified many Britons and galvanized anti-racism group Unite Against Fascism, which took responsibility for Tuesday's protest.
