Cape Girardeau routs Paragould, Ark.

The Ford & Sons Cape Girardeau Senior American Legion baseball team got three hits and five runs batted in from Dustin Crowden as it romped past Paragould, Ark., 19-6 at Capaha Field on Wednesday.

Jamie Pickel picked up the win on the mound.

Ryan Grigaitis smacked three hits and recorded three RBIs for Cape (6-5).

Jackson sweeps Sikeston in twin bill

The Jackson Junior American Legion baseball team took two games from visiting Sikeston.

Trey Parker earned the win in the 6-1 opener, while Logan Bartels won the second game, a 4-0 decision.

Dylan Koehler finished the night with four hits for Jackson (13-1).
