Anderson joins Southeast Missouri Hospital staff

Julie A. Anderson has joined the medical staff at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Anderson holds a bachelor of arts degree in physiology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She received her medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Ill. Anderson completed a pathology internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., and a family medicine internship and residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She also completed a hyperbaric medicine fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

Jackson nursing home administrator honored

Dave Walker, administrator of Jackson Manor, was honored at the Missouri Association of Nursing Home Administrators' annual convention at the Lake of the Ozarks. Walker was presented with the 2009 Presidents Award for furthering the organization through culture change. Walker was one of the founding members of the association and was also honored for his dedicated service in completing his second three-year term. Walker has served several times on the board of directors, as well as being active on several committees and task forces over the years.

Schupp recognized by radiology board

Nicholas Schupp, a medical physicist at Southeast Missouri Hospital's Regional Cancer Center, has been recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology specializing in therapeutic radiologic physics. Schupp has been a staff member at Southeast Missouri Hospital's Regional Cancer Center since 2005.

Restaurant chain recognizes local manager

Cape Girardeau Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar general manager Jerry Lynn has been named the 2008 Grand Prix Manager. Lynn earned the same recognition in 2006. Lynn was rewarded with a Miami vacation and, upon his return, he was involved in introducing several new menu items. Lynn, a resident of Scott City, has been on the Buffalo Wild Wings management team since the Cape Girardeau restaurant opened in August 2002.

Rose Bed Inn adds hospitality artist

Delilah Tayloe has been named hospitality artist at the Rose Bed Inn in Cape Girardeau. Her role as sales and marketing director includes designing corporate events for local and national firms. Tayloe also serves as administrator of the Cape River Heritage Museum and cultural resource advisor for the Missouri Humanities Council.
