Crystal Ritter of Cape Girardeau, center, cheers as her mouse J-Born wins the third race of Cheese Hill Downs Mouse Racing Friday at Dockside in Cape Girardeau. The proceeds from the event go to research and program services for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Gateway Area Chapter for the Southeast Mo., and Southern Ill., area. Dave "Mouse Man" Weber of Catawissa, Mo., travels around Missouri and surrounding states with his mice to help organizations raise money. Sharon Hileman with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society said their goal was to raise $3,000 and begin the mouse races as an annual event.
