In Loving Memory of Michelle Bonta

Michelle Bonta of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jackson, died Friday, July 17, 2009.

She was born Sept. 15, 1978, to Edward Whittaker Bonta of East Prairie, Mo., and Cheryl Buchheit of Chaffee, Mo., in Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her mother, Cheryl Buchheit of College Station, Texas; two sisters, Melissa Bonta of College Station and Mary Simmons of Perryville, Mo.; grandmother, Dorothey McCormick of Jackson; four nieces; and three nephews.

Michelle attended CrossRoads Church in Jackson and was employed at Culver's in Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Bonta; sister, Sherry Cline of Sodus Point, N.Y.; grandfather, Phillip Buchheit of Chaffee; and stepgrandfather, Charles McCormick of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation service will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 922 Koch St., Cape Girardeau.

Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
