PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A Perry County subdivision near Perryville is under a boil-water order through Friday morning after a water line broke Thursday morning. The order affects the Tanglewood subdivision, with about 30 customers, said Ken Taylor with the SK&M Water Department. The line break occurred when electrical crews accidentally damaged a water line. Water was shut off temporarily, Taylor said, but service was only down for about an hour. Taylor said water in the system is probably safe, but the boil-water order is a required precaution.
