The electrical products maker's president and CEO, David Farr, says one of Emerson's core business strategies is to deliver energy-efficient solutions for businesses, data centers and telecommunications. So when the company developed its own new global data center, he says it put those practices to use.
The data center in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson features a rooftop with more than 550 solar panels that can generate enough electricity to power the average home for three days.
