Marble Hill man pleads guilty to firearm possession
A Marble Hill, Mo., man pleaded guilty to one felony count of being a felon in possession of a firearm Monday in federal court in Cape Girardeau. John P. Browning, 58, now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine. Bollinger County deputies found a 12-gauge shotgun and a .22 caliber pistol at Browning's Bollinger County home on Dec. 8, 2008.
