Tenor Neal E. Boyd will sign copies of his new CD, "My American Dream", from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Cape Girardeau Barnes and Noble at West Park Mall.

Boyd is a Sikeston, Mo., native who made international headlines last year when he won the top prize on the NBC talent competition "America's Got Talent" with a mix of opera songs and contemporary hits sang in classical style. The win landed Boyd a major-label record deal with Decca. "My American Dream" was released in late June, and Boyd performed in concert in Sikeston June 24, opening for Kenny Rogers.

The album is currently No. 4 on the Billboard Classical Albums chart, according to billboard.com.
