While out on my routine yard-sale sprees this summer, I saw oodles of toys that were like new, and I wondered: Where are Santa's helpers? Surely they must realize that the economy is hitting everyone in the pocket or purse this year again. Everybody needs to face reality. You can't always have what you want...

While out on my routine yard-sale sprees this summer, I saw oodles of toys that were like new, and I wondered: Where are Santa's helpers? Surely they must realize that the economy is hitting everyone in the pocket or purse this year again. Everybody needs to face reality. You can't always have what you want.

Where are Santa's workshops? Each church and organization surely has a spare space for Santa's shop until Christmas. His helpers ought to be out shopping now. Wear a Santa hat and other identification. I'll bet toys would be donated by the truckloads. Think about the needs.
