John Eric Klein led the Bulldogs (10-16) with 14 points. Bryce Willen, who recently started playing after sitting out much of the season with a knee injury, added 12 points for Notre Dame. Kirk Boeller also had 12 points for the Bulldogs.

In the other quarterfinal game played Monday, No. 5 Fredericktown defeated No. 4 Perryville 56-47. This was the second time the Pirates (11-14) fell to the Black Cats (10-17), after dropping a 61-60 regular season game.
