Swimming day for dogs at Capaha Park pool

FRED LYNCH ~ flynch@semissourian.com Jon Emanie of Cape Girardeau enjoys a swim with his four-year-old Alaskan malamute, Eskimo, during the annual doggie swim day Saturday at Capaha Park pool. Emanie said he takes his dog swimming in area lakes as well. The event drew 37 dogs and raised $185 for the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Development Foundation.
