Janet Peterman

Janet Irene Peterman, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Ratliff Care Center.

She was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Evansville, Minn., daughter of Harry Trip and Florence Evelyn Lystrom Peterman.

Janet graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Mo., and attended Southwest Missouri State University three years. Her favorite hobbies included drawing and painting.

She is survived by two brothers, Gene Russell Peterman of Jackson and Neal Peterman of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlie and Richard; and a sister, Harriet.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairmount Cemetery, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
