PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Randall "Randy" D. Perkins, 50, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Randall "Randy" D. Perkins, 50, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 16, 1959, in Litchfield, Ill., son of the late William A. and Laura A. Vanlandingham Perkins. He was married Jan. 5, 1980, to Dana Lynn Weith, who survives in Perryville.

Other survivors include a son, Chad Perkins of Maryville, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cailey and Todd Slykhuis of Raleigh, Ill.; a grandson, Collin Stephen Perkins, and father- and mother-in-law Donald and Dixie Weith of Perryville.

Mr. Perkins was co-owner of Landmark Gas Co. in Perryville. He was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church in Oak Ridge, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star of St. Mary, Missouri Ropers and Barrel Racers Association and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife Dana. He enjoyed team roping and being with his family and close friends. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials are preferred to Cape County Cowboy Church Building Fund in Oak Ridge.

Friends may call at from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home chapel in Perryville.

He will then be taken to Cape County Cowboy Church for visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m., with Brother Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.
