A Kennett School Bus collided with another vehicle on Tuesday morning while carrying 11 students.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:13 a.m., at the intersection of Dalton Street and East Avenue, the Daily Dunklin Democrat reported.

Patrolman Mark Dennis responded to the accident that involved the bus and a 2004 Nissan, driven by Nora Waddell.

According to the police report, Waddell was stopped on Dalton Street at the intersection of East Avenue. As the 1999 Blue Bird School bus, driven by Bonnie McGee made the turn, she hit Waddell's vehicle.

McGee informed Dennis that she was unable to see the vehicle because she was blinded by the sun.

The 11 children were checked by the school nurse, Kennett Fire Department First Responders, and Medic One Ambulance Service EMT, according to the report.

Following evaluation all of the children appeared to be unharmed.
