Walter Miller, 85, of Union, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union. Walter Miller, 85, of Union, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union. Burial will be in National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks with full military honors.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Schroeder Miller, of Union; four daughters, Nancianne (Donald) Adams of Germantown, Tenn., Pamela Miller and husband Kent Gardner of Leawood, Kan., Joyce (John) Tarpoff of Edwardsville, Ill., Deborah (Stan) Crader of Jackson; a sister, Shirley (Robert) McFarland of Estes Park, Colo.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Franklin County Honor Flight.
