Juanita McClain

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Juanita McClain, 79, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born July 4, 1930, at Plant City, Fla., daughter of Virgil L. and Elvirda Ditto Haney. She and Delmer Paul McClain were married Sept. 25, 1946.

Juanita retired from clerical and food management.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald McClain of Chaffee, Mitchell (Annette) McClain of Wilmington, Ill.; two daughters, Dianna McClain and Sharon (John) Fioranelli of Chaffee; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Cook officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor, Mo.
