* Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo.: His son, Samuel Bond, 24, is a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps currently serving in Iraq.

* Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.: His son, Duncan D. Hunter, 28, is a lieutenant in the Marines and recently returned from his second tour in Iraq.

* Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D.: His son, Brooks, 32, is currently an Army recruiter in Dixon, Ill. Brooks served in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghani-stan and Iraq between 1998 and 2003.
