Crash injures Perryville man

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A Perryville man sustained moderate injuries in a crash Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:10 p.m. on Route E. A 1986 Buick Park Avenue driven by Edward J. Wood, 56, of Perryville was traveling westbound on Route E when the vehicle struck the rear of a Massy Ferguson 235 tractor driven by Leo T. Klump, 78, of Perryville.

Klump was taken by helicopter to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he was treated for his injuries. Wood sustained minor injuries.
