Staci Dawn Cook and Kenneth James Taylor were married June 6, 2009, at the historic Donnelly House in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Dean Register performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steven Cook and Teresa Cook of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Johnnie and Karen Taylor of Hattiesburg, Miss.

Maid of honor was Angela Hiler of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Campbell, Carly Turner and Jade Mobley.

Steven Wright of Gulfport, Miss., was best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Freeman, Billy Bankester and Kerry Parks. Ushers were Justin Cook, brother of the bride; and Stephen and Jeffery Taylor, brothers of the groom.

Flower girl was Hailey Byrd, daughter of Angie Byrd and Steven Byrd of Gulfport, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Logan Pullum, son of Jack and Laurie Pullum of Dexter, Mo., and cousin of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Donnelly House.

Mrs. Taylor received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a fifth grade teacher at Vestavia Hills Elementary Central in Vestavia Hills, Ala.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the university. He is pursuing a master's degree in nurse anesthesia.

A wedding trip is planned at a later date.

The couple is residing in Birmingham.
