Georgianna Sharp

Georgianna Sharp, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 21, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born June 29, 1927, in Highland, Ill., daughter of Carroll Luther and Myrtle Anna Catherine Mansholt Reeves. She and Jonathan Charles Sharp were married March 24, 1948, in Greenville, Ill. Georgianna Sharp, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 21, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 29, 1927, in Highland, Ill., daughter of Carroll Luther and Myrtle Anna Catherine Mansholt Reeves. She and Jonathan Charles Sharp were married March 24, 1948, in Greenville, Ill. He died Sept. 23, 2003.

Sharp was a 1945 graduate of Greenville High School and attended Greenville College. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1969 from Clayton, Mo. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau and its Covenant Prayer Group.

Survivors include two sons, Ray Sharp of Wentzville, Mo., Christopher Sharp of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Rebekah McCormack of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville from 10 a.m. to service time Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
