The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2001 GMC PK driven by William T. Tolbert, 33, was traveling on Route K in Stoddard County when it traveled off the left side of the road around 8:22 p.m. The vehicle then struck a ditch, overturned and hit a tree, ejecting Tolbert.

An ambulance transported Tolbert to Saint Francis Medical Center, where he was treated for moderate injuries. The highway patrol said Tolbert was not wearing his seat belt.
