Stephens - Lyon

Jennifer Elizabeth Stephens and Alexander Bradford Lyon exchanged wedding vows Aug. 15, 2009, at the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs Mansion in Austin. Judge Jon Wisser performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph William Stephens of Arlington, Texas. The groom is the son of Sue Brockett and Brian Rogers of Whitewater, and Fred and Lynn Lyon of Winter Park, Fla.

Maid of honor was Courtney Cline, and bridesmaids were Ingrid Mason and Jaycee Wilemon, all of Austin.

Benjamin Lyon of Chicago was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Colin Rogers of Gainesville, Fla., stepbrother of the groom; Hunter Lyon of Winter Park, half brother of the groom; and Sean O'Neal of Austin.

The reception was held at the mansion.

The rehearsal dinner was held Aug. 14 at Parkside in Austin.

Mrs. Lyon received a bachelor of arts degree in geography and Italian at the University of Texas-Austin. She is pursuing a master of science in nursing at the university.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of the School of Audio Engineering in New York City. He owns and operates The Bubble, a recording studio in Austin.

After a wedding trip to Vancouver Island, Canada, the couple is residing in Austin.
