Record - 50 Years

BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Roger Record of Benton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and reception Oct. 3, 2009, at Bella Italia in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were their children.

Record and Constance Hutchins were married Nov. 7, 1959, at Free Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, Mo., by the Rev. John Jeffries, uncle of the bride.

Their attendants were Floyd Reynolds and the late Lorene Bradford.

The Records have seven children, Cheryl (Marvin) Wormington of Jackson, Jan (Gary) Wierman of Rogers, Ark., Donald (Michele) Record of Mount Wolf, Pa., Evelyn Record of Park Hills, Mo., Daniel (Jennifer) Record of Crystal City, Mo., Rachel (Jason) Crocker of Chandler, Ariz., and Darryl (Kayo) Record, missionary in Cambodia.

They have 13 grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph and Amanda Wormington; Anna, Jared and Carissa Wierman; Reagan, Abriana, Natalie, Erica and Benjamin Record; Karis and Jack Crocker. They have four great-grandchildren.
