Wall - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wall of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a surprise party Nov. 28, 2009, at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were their children.

Wall and Bessie Deck were married Dec. 24, 1959, at the home of Walter and Margie Deck of Glenallen, Mo. Deck performed the ceremony.

The couple has six children, Gina (Reggie) Mars of Bentonville, Ark., Tom (Pam) Wall Jr. of Gastonia, N.C., Steve (Regina) Wall of Chaffee, Mo., Rebekah (Ted) Wellendorf of Norman, Okla., Debbie Goins and Elizabeth (Mike) Minton of Jackson.

They have 11 grandchildren.
