Ramona Highfill Harris, 55, of Jackson died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 3, 1954, in Malden, Mo., to Emerson Lee and JoAnn Grantham Highfill.

Harris attended Cape County Cowboy Church and was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Survivors include her mother of Jackson; two sons, Matthew and Joseph Highfill of Jackson; three sisters, Linda Smith, Cindy Jones and Beth Brotherton of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
