Michael Littleton

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Michael W. Littleton, 61, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Mo.

He was born May 19, 1948, in Perryville, son of Charles and Deloris Clifton Littleton. He and Connie Moll were married Oct. 4, 1975. She preceded him in death Feb. 11, 2009.

Littleton was a retired lieutenant at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Ill. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer (John) Price of Maryville, Ill., Jessica (Matthew) Pierce of Perryville; his father of Perryville; two brothers, Dewight and Dewayne Littleton of Crosstown, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Ella Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Crosstown, with military honors provided by the U.S. Marine Corps.

Memorials are preferred to American Diabetes Association.
