West Park Mall to host free new business seminar Wednesday

Local entrepreneurs are invited to a free new-business seminar Wednesday at West Park Mall.

The seminar will be at 6 p.m. in the mall office, next to the Hallmark store.

General manager John Dickey asked that participants bring a business synopsis and any questions they have and mall personnel will evaluate each business or situation. The mall offers short- and long-term rent, or even rent as a percentage of sales in some cases. To register, call 339-1333.

Dickey said mall sales and traffic were up 4 percent in 2009. The mall is now at 88 percent capacity.
