Evelyn Heatley
Evelyn Elizabeth Heatley, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Pulaski County, Ill., to Ernest C. and Edna B. Kennedy Sandlin. She and Benjamin Robert Heatley were married June 6, 1940, in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Pulaski County, Ill., to Ernest C. and Edna B. Kennedy Sandlin.
She and Benjamin Robert Heatley were married June 6, 1940, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death June 6, 1998.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Lavern Crites of Collinsville, Ill.; a niece, Marsha Clark of Cape Girardeau; two nephews, Troy Dean Crites of Collinsville; Michael H. Webb of Cape Girardeau; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter; brother; sister, Ada Mae Metje; and nephew, Gary Wayne Crites.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lorimier Cemetery.
