Candace Christine London and Matthew Robert Schlueter were married Aug. 1, 2009, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Timothy Vowels performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel of Kelso, and soloist was Jessica Deering of Marion, Ill.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Connie London of Cape Girardeau, and Tim and Becky Schlueter of Jefferson City, Mo.

Matron of honor was Dawn Roberts of Gordonville, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Ressel of Kelso and Staci Kombrink of St. Louis, cousins of the bride, and Lauren Franke of St. Louis.

Scott Schlueter of Jefferson City was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Armin Krvavac of St. Louis; Kyle Roberts of Gordonville, cousin of the bride; and Adam Franke of St. Louis. Ushers were Clinton Frankenbach, Tyler Tate and Scott Meredith, all of St. Louis.

Flower girl was Trina Blumberg, daughter of Eric and Sheri Blumberg of Columbia, Mo., and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Noah Umbeck, son of Bill and Amy Umbeck of Cape Girardeau.

Guest book attendant was Laura Fecht of St. Louis.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. Cake servers were Judy Huey, Vickie Hurst and Rita Cracraft, all of Cape Girardeau and aunts of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 31 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Schlueter received a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 2007, and a master's degree in business administration in 2009, both from Maryville University. She is a contract auditor with the U.S. Department of Defense.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in health science in 2008, and a master's degree in physical therapy in 2009, both from Maryville University. He is a physical therapist at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is residing in St. Peters, Mo.
