Larry Don Aufdenberg, 68, of Burfordville died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 14, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to Arnold H. and Esther Edna Grebing Aufdenberg. He and Margaret Lufcy were married July 13, 1962, in Cape Girardeau.

Mr. Aufdenberg was a truck driver and mill worker for MFA Agri-Service in Jackson, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Aufdenberg of Burfordville; a daughter, Lisa Jean (Patrick McGill) Hahn of Burfordville; three sons, Jerry Lynn Aufdenberg of Marble Hill, Mo., Travis Wayne (Lori) Aufdenberg of Jackson and Paul Arnold (Adriane) Aufdenberg of Red Oak, Iowa; two sisters, Shirley Jean Peterson of Boonville, Mo., and Melba Adelle Inman of Cobden, Ill.; a brother, Lynn Eugene (LaVerne) Aufdenberg of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter and a nephew.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family of Larry Don Aufdenberg.
