Work to improve the Route 51 bridge over Bois Brule Creek in Perry County will begin at 7 a.m. March 16, weather permitting. The bridge will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as work to replace the bridge deck will be underway. The bridge improvements will be completed as part of the MoDOT's Safe and Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
