Carolyn Sue Jones, 66, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 30, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Thomas and Naomi Dunn Smith. She and Robert E. Jones were married March 24, 1970.

Carolyn was a member of Trinity Grace Chapel in Jackson. She was formerly employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital and the Lutheran Home, retiring in 1996.

Loving survivors include her husband of 39 years; four sons, Terry Webb of Piedmont, Mo., Darren Bullard of Jackson, currently serving in Afghanistan, Bobby Jones Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Tommy Lee Jones of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Kim Beggs of Cape Girardeau, Lisa Russell of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday to service time at Trinity Grace Chapel.

A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday at the chapel, with the Revs. Troy Truitt and Delbert Mueller officiating.
