Balsamo inducted as orthopaedic fellow

Dr. Luke Balsamo of Norfolk, Va., was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons on March 10 during ceremonies at the academy's 2010 annual meeting in New Orleans. Balsamo is currenly on active duty in the Navy and is stationed at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. Balsamo graduated from Cqape Girardeau Central High School in 1989.
