ORAN, Mo. -- Cody Ryan Boggs, 16, of Oran died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 2, 1994, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joe and Sally Wehmeyer Boggs. Cody was a sophomore at Oran High School. He was involved in Oran High School Art Club and was an avid gamer. ORAN, Mo. -- Cody Ryan Boggs, 16, of Oran died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 2, 1994, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joe and Sally Wehmeyer Boggs.

Cody was a sophomore at Oran High School. He was involved in Oran High School Art Club and was an avid gamer. He was a great son, brother, and just one great kid.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Wade Boggs of Oran; grandparents, Larry Wehmeyer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Sammye Rosenlund of Abilene, Texas, Joan McLam of Lakeport, N.H.; great-grandmothers, Belle Wehmeyer of Ste. Genevieve, Hazel Billington of Festus, Mo., Lucie Brown of New Hampshire; and best friend, Mitchell Crites of Oran.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating.
