Evelyn M. Warner, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1928, in St. Louis, to Albert and Clara Welker Warner. Evelyn and James R. Warner were married Sept. 29, 1945, in Cape Girardeau.
Evelyn was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Rebecca) Warner of Jackson; four daughters, Paula (Steve) Sebastian of Cape Girardeau, Carol (Gerald) Williams of Oak Ridge, Tonya (Robbie) Tollison of Jackson, Chris (Les) Beasley of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Peggy Warner of Marble Hill, Mo., Sharon Cook of Allenville, Jackie Brown of Marble Hill; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to service time Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lewis Todd officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be given to the National Foundation for Cancer Research.
