HOWARDVILLE, Mo. -- Clifton Haney Jr., 53, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born March 10, 1952, in Portageville, Mo., son of Clifton Haney and Josephine Hamer Haney Sr.

Haney was a 1971 graduate of Lilbourn High School. He moved to Indiana in 1973.

Survivors include four daughters, Suanna Tillman of Columbia, Mo., Cathay McDonald, Kishia Johnson and Cliffunya Haney of Fort Wayne; his mother of Howardville; six brothers, Robert and Charles Haney of Fort Wayne, Doug Haney of Howardville, Dewayne, Ricky and Gary Haney of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Minnie Johnson and Joyce Thomas of Fort Wayne, Michelle Hopkins and Betty Roston of Portageville; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a grandson.

Friends may call from noon to service time Saturday at Good Hope Baptist Church in Marston, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Kirk Dunnaviant officiating. Burial will be in Mason Cemetery at Point Pleasant, Mo.

Williams Funeral Home at Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
