Beatrice Depro

MATTHEWS, Mo. -- Beatrice "Bea" Depro, 85, of Matthews died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Sells Rest Home.

She was born Jan. 26, 1920, at Matthews, daughter of Clarence and Ruth Hill Critchlow. She and Bill Depro were married June 28, 1938, at Matthews. He died March 23, 1989.

Depro had been a third-grade teacher with Matthews School District. She was a charter member of First Christian Church in Matthews, and a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Depro of Matthews; a daughter, Becky Kelso of Matthews; a sister, Mary Kasten of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 11 a.m. today until time of service.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Wells officiating. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery.
