WENTZVILLE, Mo. -- Grace Umfleet Hinkle, 98, of Wentzville, Mo, formerly of Advance, Mo., passed away April 2, 2010, at St. John's Place in St. Johns, Mo. She was born Feb. 14, 1911, the daughter of Edward and Minnie Jones Umfleet. Grace and Ernest Hinkle were united in marriage on Jan. 4, 1933, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1987...

WENTZVILLE, Mo. -- Grace Umfleet Hinkle, 98, of Wentzville, Mo, formerly of Advance, Mo., passed away April 2, 2010, at St. John's Place in St. Johns, Mo.

She was born Feb. 14, 1911, the daughter of Edward and Minnie Jones Umfleet. Grace and Ernest Hinkle were united in marriage on Jan. 4, 1933, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1987.

She was the dear mother of Ernest (Toni) Hinkle of O'Fallon, Mo., Shelba (Donald) Leadbetter of Wentzville, Ida (Doyle) Tidwell of Advance, Charles (Pat) Hinkle of St. Peters, Mo., and Winnis (Donald) Sifford of Grassy, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The funeral will be at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
