Southeast Missouri State track and field teams recorded 11 top-10 finishes at the Ole Miss Invitational on Saturday in Oxford, Miss. Southeast Missouri State track and field teams recorded 11 top-10 finishes at the Ole Miss Invitational on Saturday in Oxford, Miss. The men's squad had nine of those finishes, including the lone title.

Brandon Colbert won his second straight shot put title and third of the outdoor season. He recorded a throw of 55 feet, 3 inches. He also was third in the hammer throw (189-1 3/4) and sixth in the discus (172-8 1/2).

Tyler Terry was second in the long jump (23-7 1/2) and fourth in the triple jump (47-6 1/2).

Chris Loseman was fourth in the 5,000 (15:17.98), with Cody Martin ninth (15:39.80).

Ross Miller was ninth in the high jump (6-2 3/4), and Jamere Franklin placed 10th in the 100 meters (10.79 seconds).

On the women's side, Monica Noble had Southeast's top finish as she was seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:47.15). Tiffany Mead placed 10th in the 800 (2:20.03).

The Southeast gymnastics team ended its season Saturday as two members competed at the NCAA South Central Regional in Columbia, Mo.

Junior Brianna Gaddie had Southeast's top finish, a tie for 12th place on floor with a score of 9.825.

Freshman Jordan Salsberg placed 17th in the all-around (38.000). She also tied for 24th on beam (9.700), tied for 28th on bars (9.700) and tied for 30th on vault (9.700).

Tennis ends campaign

The Southeast tennis squad finished its season Sunday with a 7-0 nonconference loss at Arkansas-Little Rock.

Southeast went 3-19 overall and 1-8 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
