SIKESTON, Mo. -- A 19-year-old Sikeston man was injured Thursday afternoon when he was thrown from his motorcycle, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on private property one-tenth of a mile north of Sikeston, when Dustin Monroe lost control of his motorcycle while jumping an embankment. Monroe was airlifted to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and treated for serious injuries...
