Fredericktown, Mo. -- Bessie Vivette Cooper, 103, of Fredericktown died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at the Baisch Nursing Center in Desoto, Mo.
She was born Oct. 24, 1901, in Chaffee, Mo., daughter of John and Catherine Allard Hendrix. She and Roy Cooper were married Sept. 30, 1925. He died Sept. 7, 1995.
Cooper was a member of Grassy Friendship Church.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Cooper of St. Charles, Mo., Aldo Cooper of Sullivan, Mo.; a daughter, Shirley Kirkpatrick of Fletcher, Mo.; a sister, Adell Hartle of Jackson; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
