Jackson riding student awarded
Maddie Rupke of Jackson recently competed in two divisions at the Stone Hall Farm Vineyard and Winery Hunter Trials of Southern Illinois. She was grand champion in the Handy Hunter division and won a medallion and blue ribbon in the pairs class. Rupke, a 15-year-old freshman at Jackson High School, is the daughter of John and Julia Rupke.
She is enrolled at a new riding program at Alarka Farm, between Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
