ULLIN, Ill. -- Kenneth "Kenny" "KB" Baker, 56, of Ullin died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at his home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1949, at Cairo, Ill., son of Kenneth and Suda Hammond Baker. He was a farmer and a volunteer firefighter for the Ullin Fire Department. He was also the keeper of the torch on the Ullin water tower. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ullin.
He and Regena Cipriani were married July 29, 1980. She died Sept. 11, 2003.
Survivors include three sisters, Carolyn Winkenwerder of Ullin, Dianna Bundy of Cairo, Patricia Wood of Elkhart, Ind., and a special friend, Marilyn Sadler of Ullin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Perry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Ullin Cemetery with military rites by VFW Post 3455 of Anna, Ill.
