ADVANCE, Mo. -- Emily A. Johnson and Andrew C. Petroline exchanged wedding vows May 8, 2010, at the historic Old Courthouse in downtown St. Louis. Joel Christensen performed the ceremony. Music was by the Serenade Strings Trio of St. Louis University.

Parents of the couple are John F. and Pat Johnson Jr. of Advance, and Andrew and Linda Petroline of Mount Olive, Ill.

Maid of honor was Amanda Johnson of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kacie Ballantini of Belleville, Ill., Meghan Daugherty of Collinsville, Ill., Nicole McBride of Shiloh, Ill., Deanna Clinard of Festus, Mo., and Sarah Johnson of Jackson, sister-in-law of the bride.

Jason Sewing of San Diego, Calif., cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Monke of Collinsville; Brent Austin of Litchfield, Ill.; Pat Kavanagh, cousin of the groom; and James Harris, both of St. Louis. Ushers were Adam Johnson of Jackson, brother of the bride, and Andy Payne of Edwardsville, Ill.

Flower girl was Stella Ruesler, daughter of Amanda and Corey Ruesler and niece of the bride.

The reception was held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.

The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner May 7 at Lombardo's Trattoria.

Mrs. Petroline is a 2007 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Louis.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He is a senior learning adviser with Premiere Knowledge Solutions in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Collinsville.
