PERRYVILLE, MO. -- Incumbents easily won all three Republican primary races in Perry County on Tuesday.

Michael Bullerdieck won the primary race for Associate Circuit Judge with 54 percent of the vote. He received 2,403 votes to defeat Jason Tilley, who received 2,044 votes.

"I just have great faith in Perry County and feel that I deserve to win," Bullerdieck said. "I'm looking forward to the race in November and serving the county for four more years."

Bullerdieck has been Perry County Associate Circuit Judge for 23 years.

In November, Bullerdieck will face Democrat Craig Brewer, who ran unopposed in Tuesday's primary. Brewer received 276 votes Tuesday.

Presiding Commissioner Carl Leuckel Jr. received 64 percent of the vote Tuesday and will seek re-election to a second term in office in November. Leuckel received 2,812 votes in the primary election while Rick Schemel received 1,575 votes. In November, Leuckel will face Democrat Stanley "Paul" Grantham, who received 238 votes Tuesday.

Veronica Hershey won her sixth term as treasurer, receiving 70 percent of the vote Tuesday. The primary decided the race since no Democratic candidate has filed for the office. Hershey's primary challenger, Brian Brickhaus received 1,303 votes.
