The gift comes from Warren Wheelock, a professor emeritus, and his wife, Connie J. Campbell, a graduate of the School of Education.

It will go toward the Warren Wheelock Scholarship in Reading Education.

A past president of the Kauffman Foundation established the scholarship in 1995 to honor Wheelock and his contributions to education.
